Hi Jack,
Just a note to say THANK YOU for all the years of great music. It's funny but people don't remember that in the 60's it wasn't all the British invasion and rock and roll. Great traditional pop and jazz singers such as yourself, Bennett, Andy Williams, Matt Munro, Nat Cole, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Perry Como, Damone, John Gary, and many more were making great recordings and performing live and on television. I do so miss the variety shows of those years. I recently watched a video of your performance on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. You followed the Animals. Of course all the girls were shreiking for them but then you came out and performed so beautifully. It's almost as if I saw a sadness in your eyes as if you realized the wave of change you would have to face. You have faced it well... so well in fact that many rock acts of the 60's and 70's now perform the standards because they now recognize the beauty of those songs. Thank you for championing the American standard and great American song book. Thanks for the courage and dedication to your craft. I hope you never retire.
Good Luck and God Bless

Happy New Year, and happy birthday, Jack. When I am able to gather more facts, I will write again. My mother often spoke of your father, and how they played together as children. She said they were first cousins. Her name: Margaret Owen, one sister: Ann. The relationship is on her mother's side. Her mother: Jenny Williams Owen. She had 2 sisters: Margaret Williams Bichler, (who, with her husband, owned a florist shop in Taylor), and Bessie Williams Watkins. There was one brother: Daniel Williams, and one brother who died very young. My mother was from Taylor, and my father from Old Forge. There is no one left from whom I can get more facts, so I am trying to find out on my own just how we are related. My mother's grandparents were Gomer and Anna Williams. Anna's maiden name was Jones. I know that your father's name was Theodore, and he took the name Allan from his mother's maiden name. At least, that is what I was always told. The last time you were in Wilmington, Delaware, I found out about it after the fact, so I missed seeing you, but I love to hear you sing. I think you are great! Would love to know if you have any plans on coming back to Wilmington. I live in the outskirts of Wilmington, near the historical city of New Castle, Delaware.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK.
I shall be 55 this year and having been listening to you since i was 15. Most of my friends in those days didn't even know who you were but I put that straight. I have been to see you many times when you've been to England and have enjoyed every concert. You very kindly signed a poster of yourself for me when you came to Eastbourne last year. I'll keep on listening to you all the time I can hear!

For so many years my wife and I have been attending Jack's shows, be they in other States, north of the border, or even across The Pond. What is simply amazing is that each performance simply surpasses the prior, leaving one to ponder: 'How high is his zenith?'
And so it was at the Palm Desert show - simply incredible. But this particular McCallum event was more special. A relative of mine (originally English), escaping the bitter winters, fled to California for its sunshine and to celebrate a speciial birthday (her 80th). Afan of Jack and the Sinatras/Williams/Bennets, she had never seen Jack perform live. So I purchased tickets for her and her husband..............needless to say she was over the moon following yet another brilliant performance. Her husband, a retired airforce colonel simply could not comprehend Jack's amazing range and breath control.
But more: Eleonora so graciously allowed me to take them to the backstage party and meet Jack. My relatives were over the moon, and all had several great chin-wags. To meet Jack and his lovely bride really capped off a wonderful birthday week.
2014 now, and still, in regular telephone calls, she raves on about the show, and I suspect that 'Live in Liverpool' - one of her birthday presents, is just about worn out by now!
Thank you Eleonora, for your graciousness, and thank you, Jack, for yet another great show - can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for the great concert in Palm Desert on November 23. Your voice continues to grow in power and sensitivity. You are without a doubt the finest interpreter of the written word in music today. My wive equally enjoyed your performance and we look forward to seeing you on stage again very soon. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Eleonora.

Hi,
thank you for a stunning show last night. My husband and I pop down to palm desert for a couple of weeks every November and always catch a show at the mccallum theatre. I was thrilled to find your name on the calendar and got tickets straight from the airport on our arrival. Your performance reminded me of my huge teenage crush. Thank you again for a great evening.
cheers,

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed your concert last week at the Lewers Lounge at the Halekulani Hotel in Hawaii. Such a special concert in an intimate room. Especially loved your rendition of "From a Distance." We are Hawaii residents who frequently visit La Quinta. Wish we could catch you this week at the McCallum (we love that theatre as well). Aloha from Hawaii!

Just received my two copies of Jack Jones Live In Liverpool 2013. I shared my second copy with a friend who is from Liverpool. She was so impressed with Jack's performance. We also enjoyed the annecdotes sprinkled in among the songs. I remember watching Jack perform on the Sullivan Show. To hear his reflections of Ed Sullivan brought back many great memories. So nice to hear Dio Come Te Amo rendered so beautifully in this collection. I look forward to driving to Palm Desert to see Jack in person again this month. Friends, if you have not had the opportunity to see Jack Jones in concert, you are missing out.
Be sure to check his tour schedule, and by all means make plans to see him live. It is an experience you will treasure!

I have just received Jacks Live in Liverpool CD. I was really excited having waited for it too arrive. Then when I opened the package the case was smashed.
It's just been sent from abroad I think but I suppose that's no excuse.

I was very fortunate to coordinate Jack's Seaport Village appearance on behalf of The Salvation Army years ago. At the time, I should have asked Jack for an autograph, but I felt uncomfortable in doing so. Have all of his recordings since his first Capital effort, and I look forward to seeing him at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert soon. I am in the process of buying two of Jack's Live from Liverpool cd for m yself and a friend who is from Liverpool. Her name is Allison, and she is also a devoted fan. Is there any way Jack could autograph the recordings for us? I know, a tall request, but it would be great. Let me know if I should but them at the JJ Store and send them to you for signing. I am very apopreciative of any help you can provide.
