Hi, Jack, looking for one of your early albums in which you sung God Only Knows and Send In The Clowns. Cannot remember all of the songs but it had to be late sixties or early seventies. Will see you in Mt. Dora in February (my birthday present to myself!). God Bless!

I remember Jack Jones from the TV shows when I was growing up in the 1960\'s and 1970\'s. I practically forgot how talented he was, because he was over-shadowed by other singers like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Andy Williams and John Davidson. Suddenly, just today his name popped into my mind, and I Googled his name to find out if he was still singing. This wonderful page, and this video performance suddenly made me realize just how great Jack Jones really is. The arrangement and vocals on this practically blew me away. Unbelievable, mellow, sophisticated, heart wrenching, warm and beautiful are all words I can use to describe him. He is like a fine wine that matured into perfection. Wow! Glad you are still around and performing. You are a great performer.

The Suncoast Casino in Las Vegas is a pretty fun place full of pleasant, friendly staff. It also features a cozy, intimate showroom with excellent acoustics. For wife Maureen and I both, the venue provided both a new scene and experience. It was super to meet up (Nove. 22nd) once again with Eleonora and Jack, and as expected, we were treated to yet another virtuoso performance by the \"master of his craft\". Only part-through his opening number, and Jack had already taken hold and grasped thereafter in his hand, an audience that buzzed with enthusiasm, as was evidenced by the constant cheering and the numerous standing ovations. Just prior to the concert,I chatted to several folks who\'d never before seen Jack perform live......and afterward.......so many were keen for a repeat! Great songs all, but for Maureen in particular,\"The Music Of The Night\" never fails to be her hi-light.....how else could she possibly explain goose-bump chills developing midst the Las Vegas desert heat? And I agree with her - if ever a song was custom-fit for....! Those who have not been fortunate enough to attend one of Jack\'s concerts have truly missed out, for there exists a chasm of difference between a recording (no matter how good)and such brilliant live performances. I must say that I\'ve been very privileged, primarily through the hospitality of Eleonora to meet and natter with professional musicians who\'ve known and at times worked with Jack during his career. Full of compliments all. But the one that registered the most and has stuck with me ever since is: \"Jack is the Consummate Singer and Musician\" - and this from a gentleman who has known and worked with the best! That particular statement set my brain a-whirling, so much so that now I \'get it\'! So many performers literally \"Paint By Numbers\"; both mechanical and formulaic, they become reluctant to stray too far from the path which led to their initial success. Jack by contrast, is an \"Artiste\" in the true sense of the word; he allows his creative imagination to run free and as a result quite clearly \"feels\" rather than \"acts-out\" his songs. He frequently tosses variations into his numbers, at times quite subtle, at others more noticeable. On the spur of the moment? Only he knows, but whichever version shows up - it\'s still \"the real goods!\" My advice to all: if Jack\'s schedule brings him into your area, make the most of it and \"go-see\"! You\'ll ne\'er come away disappointed! Eleonora and Jack, we thank you once again for a truly wonderful and memorable evening - always lovely to see you both. Maureen and Alan London

Just heard couple of songs from Live in Liverpool 2013....Without A Song and Imagine/From A Distance. I\'ve seen Jack perform in the UK for many years and without a doubt this performance is from a master song stylist. I must confess I was disappointed to hear that 2013 was his farewell UK tour. You\'ve got to hit the road Jack and comeback! PLEASE! Sincerely Yours Terry

JJ song(s): What are you doing the rest of your life, all my t Dear Jack, I had the privilege of meeting you while I was performing on the S.S. Norway in a trio Sullivan, Ellis , and Boris. I know for a fact that you were the only performer that came on the ship that the orchestra actually got excited about. I believe Adrian Rosen and Danny Michelli(spelling?) were with you then. I always thought that you were a greatly under rated singer. Your phrasing, delivery, range, straight tone w/o all the vibrato that your contemporaries had set you apart as a great jazz stylist. I always got the impression that you must have been on the wrong side of the establishment of L.A. Music business, for you never seemed to have gotten the recognition you deserve. In any event, I am glad to see that you still are performing, and will try and see your act in Florida this coming winter. I still play in Virginia, and D.C. Mostly jazz and society gigs. I will continue to sing your praises to young singers and musicians I work with. I wish you continued success Regards, Bruce Sullivan/Richmond, bva

Favorite JJ song(s): Music Of The Night The other favorite performers: N/A My wife and I attended Jack\'s Sarurday show at The Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, and what a treat it was - made the more by his lovely wife Eleonora having arranged a table for us adjacent to the stage. As per the norm Jack provided us with yet another evening of exhilerating music. In total contrast to the larger, at times cold, venues, The Catalina is actually quite small, but warm, intimate, and even cozy. It can conjure up images of those genuine night clubs that were so regulalry featured in many of the old, classical, black-and-whites! Jack, in his element, one could tell, immediatey gelled with an audience of all ages (which included several prominent musicians, all of whom so obviously appereciate his unique skills) and soon had them whooping it up from all corners of the room. Down amongst us rabble a few times, there was much \'hooping and a-hollering\' - the atmosphere was electric...........and it was oh so apparent that Jack was having a much fun as the rest of us! Looking back, it\'s been many a year since we saw Jack perform in such a \'comfortable\' environment........and both my wife and myself appreciated how fortunate we were once again to enjoy the experience, and hope that it will not be too long a-fore we are able to do it again! Thank you Eleonora for arranging such a wonderful evening, and thanks again Jack for the fabulous show..........which, by the way, was far too short! Alan and Maureen London

Favorite JJ song(s): All of them I said I would write when I found out just how we are related. Your grandfather, Daniel, and my great-grandmother, Annie, were brother and sister. IMy Goddaughter found this info on ancestry.com, along with an obit of your grandfather\'s. In the abit, it states that your father received the news of his father\'s death while returning after performing for the king and queen of England, along with Gracie Fields and Dinah Shore. Since my mother and her sister have passed away, there was no one left to ask. My grandmother was Jenni Williams/Owen. Her father was Gomer Williams, married to your grandfather\'s sister, Annie. It was on my bucket list to find this info, and I would also like to see you in person. When you were last in Wilmington, DE, I found out about it after the fact. I wish you could write to me, and let me know when you might be coming back this way. I live in New Castle, DE, just outside of Wilmington.
