Favorite JJ song(s): LADY The oher favorite performers: VIC DAMONE Hi Jack, we met at the Sage last year, I gave Ellanora a few lines of lyric for a song, any good? I asked about you having a walk on part in a movie, I mistakenly said picture instead of movie, that movie was about 40 years ago, you were leaning against a car, am I right? Kind regards Peter

Favorite JJ song(s): I am a Singer The oher favorite performers: Tony Bennet Mel Torme I first saw JJ perform live in 1973, in England, at Leeds Town Hall. I have seen him many times since - in various British locations. Jack Jones is a truly outstanding singer. He is the best popular music male singer I have ever heard. Jack has an incredible vocal range. I hate people describing Jack as a \"crooner\". He is much more than that.

Dear Mr. Jones, do you remember Anita Mrajska? I met her in 1959 at Loch Lomond Youth Hostel, but very unfortunately and due to the fact, that she went to Poland we lost contact during those years of the cold war. Anita\'s mother told me that you became friends for some time. I would very much appreciate a short reply. With kind regards Rolf Bartikowski Germany

Favorite JJ song(s): too many to name Was in the audience for your first show Saturday evening. It was a beautiful performance and a wonderful trip down memory lane for me. I was about 5 years old, sitting in the car with my mom, and a new song came on \"Lollipops and Roses.\" Followed you ever since, with help from my mom, who took me to see you at Kleinhans with the Reuben Mitchell trio, used to wake me up to see your appearances on the Tonight Show, help me save to buy your albums. It was a wonderful bond I shared with my mom, an inveterate Sinatra fan who once skipped school to catch his show at the Sheas Buffalo! And I shared it with my daughter, who as a young child, had one of your tapes in her collection that she listened to at bedtime. Every night, I sang \":You\'re My Best Girl\" to her. These days, Mom is in a nursing home, and not herself. so I was beyond delighted when my daughter, now 24, married and living in NYC, called to say she made reservations for us to see you at Feinsteins. We loved every minute of the show, and my mom\'s spirit was very much in the room. Thank you for all the joy your music has given me all these years.

Favorite JJ song(s): Once Upon a TIme I am an old lady of 78 and I have heard and seen all the love song \"singers\" of the past 50 years. NO ONE is better than our wonderful Jack Jones. He really makes me cry! His personal life confuses me for someone who sings about \"love\" so well! God Bless you Jack and find lasting love at last!

Favorite JJ song(s): People Will Say We\'re in Love, Lady, Rainy Day The oher favorite performers: Sinatra As a vinyl collector, I have many, many of Jack\'s original LPs and continue to play them often. A purist, I don\'t want his music \"digitized, and remastered\" - I want to hear it as it was originally played on 1960s turntables. I have been a fan of his music for over 20 years now. When he was cranking out the hits for Kapp and cutting his classic LPs, I was still in the crib, as I was born in 1960 when he was a rising star. It wasn\'t until I was in my 20s & 30s (late 80s & 90s) that I first heard his recordings. His earliest material from the early-mid 60s was the absolute BEST of his career. As a lifelong pianist myself, playing by ear, I have learned much of my material from Jack\'s records. What a life he must have had. He grew up in a era I would give anything to live in today. Hats off to a GREAT star!

More info surfacing. It is most likely that we are related on my grandmother\'s side, not my grandfather\'s. My grandmother was Jane Williams. She had 4, possibly 5 siblings. Sisters: Bessie (Evans and Watkins), and Margaret Bichler. She and her husband, Fernell, owned Bichler Florist, in Taylor, right on Main Street. Brother: Daniel, and possibly another brother, Thomas. I don\'t know why that is just a possibility unless he died at birth. Their parents were Gomer Williams and Anna Jones. If you can fill in any of the blanks, I would love to hear from you. Perhaps the Jones - is a brother of Anna - your father\'s father? That makes sense because the sibling, Daniel, could have been named after your grandfather. I want to cross this off my bucket list. I am 70, and you are 74, so, I will continue digging. I have several of your records, but would love to start collecting your albums in CDs. Thinking of you, and still digging. Wishing you the best!
